Installed by WaterFarmers UAI in the main foyer of a busy metropolitan community centre, this system creates educational and social development opportunities for urban youth centered around fresh food production. Using fish waste as fertilizer for plants, leafy greens, herbs and microgreens are grown and harvested by community centre staff and volunteers. The system has been in operation since installed in 2016.
