This modified shipping container, dubbed the PasCon 1, was designed and fabricated in-house to provide an all-season secure growing environment for a community centre in Toronto. Large glazing, thermal mass and passive ventilation features work together with supplemental heaters and fans to maintain favourable growing conditions.
