WaterFarmers worked closely with students in a Green Industries high school class to construct a working aquaponics system featuring two large fish tanks feeding deep water culture grow beds built by shop class students. Students gained hands-on experience building the system, working with plumbing fixtures, introducing fish to the system, and have worked for years to continue maintanance of the system, monitor water chemicals, raise healthy fish, and grow an abundance of leafy greens.
