Scope 1,250 litre storage capacity
A demonstration rainwater system was installed at the J.C. Taylor Nature Centre in partnership with the University of Guelph Arboretum and the City of Guelph. Educational signage was installed to educate members of the public about the system and its purpose. The rainwater system features a 1,250 litre tank in a sturdy wooden enclosure. Water flows into the tank through a pre-filter, ensuring debris and dirty water does not come into the tank. A filter and pump are provided on the outlet of the tank to feed garden hoses. This system was fabricated off site and delivered. WaterFarmers has dubbed this system design the RainWaterOne - it is eligible for the City of Guelph seasonal rainwater harvesting rebate.
